Was supposed to be roller-blading but Eric cancelled it. So YX, Eric and me went Suntec instead for some Toys and Animation convention. The event sucks big time, what a tragic and I didn’t managed to get the New Era Cap from TOKIDOKI because the human traffic’s too packed to even buy.

Headed Paragon to shop after the convention visit and saw a nice jacket from GUESS, wanted to try but the zip dropped off before I can even put it on. So much for a 200 dollar jacket with such a weak zip huh. In the end, only Eric got himself a Marc Ecko belt.

Nelson joined us for dinner and we had Pepper Lunch, and I had an instant stomachache after dinner. That meal was too heavy. After browsing around town we decided to head home by cab but Nelson needed something from Paragon, so we headed back. Suddenly, a heavy downpour occured and the TAXI Stand became superly crowded out of sudden. Astonished by the amount of people queueing, we decided to take train home instead. I mentioned that TAXI Stand was quite empty and there are plenty of cabs on the streets before Nelson mentioned going back Paragon. And so Eric made a conclusion about this incident.

– Rain gives people needs to take a cab
– When rains take place, cab drivers goes home to keep laundries.
– If cab drivers are at home, they will choose to sleep on rainy days instead of work.

Huh, perhaps it’s a trend to take cab when raining. Just like traffic jams appears even when accident happened at the road shoulder.

Three groups day

Accompanied Mom and Aunt to shop for their clothings. Mom made a big Hooha cause I buy her undergarments with them, I mean what’s the big deal? Everyone need underwear and stuff. After a long afternoon of shopping traveling from Bedok to Chinatown and lastly Clarke Quay, they were satisfied for the day and I departed to meet up with Eric they all for dinner at Vivo City.

After some fussle, I met up with Alvin, his girlfriend, Eric, Marcus, Priscillia and one of her friend to have dinner at White Dog Cafe. The ambience was alright and so was the food, not much big deal except for the Sasuage Platter which was quite fabulous. Had a few hours of nonsense talks and catching up and found out different stories about NS, quite a ridiculous life they have.

The beer price at White Dog Cafe is cheap after 9. $3.50 for Tiger.

I bidded farewell with them and headed to Clarke Quay to meet up with Willie, Wenyang, Daryl and Azure for a drink and they decided to prawn at Pasir Ris. Something happened on the way to Pasir Ris and it’s all about Azure.

We grabbed a few cans of beers and they started prawning, I can’t prawn because of some reasons. Prawning are boring but some incidents happened, making prawning quite lively.

– Azure keep kneeling on some pipe stuff in the middle of the prawn pool to prawn.
– Willie kept feeding the prawns instead and kept swearing.
– Willie accidently dropped his hook and bait into Daryl’s beer.
– A prawn grabbed onto Wenyang’s rod float instead of his bait.
– Willie’s pants got wet because of Azure.
– Daryl is the only one with zero catch.
– Found out that the bait’s colour turns pale after a few minutes of prawning.

Conclusions.

– Wenyang says prawns evolved from biting bait to sucking meat juice from bait.
– Prawn grabbed hold onto the float perhaps prawns can’t swim.
– Azure can’t read road signs.
– Azure is long-winded.
– Willie is still stupid.

After 2 hours of prawning, Kenndra joined us for a chat at the snack house. And we found out that we are actually the pillars of Singapore.

Mistaken identity

My Dad’s phone rang and he answered in a seconds. I found the conversation weird and I had no choice but to ask him to clear my doubts.

The phone conversation was like this.

Unknown Guy: “May I speak to Ang Molan?”
Dad: “Who Ang Mor lang?”
Unknown Guy: “Ang Molan.”
Dad: “Here no Ang Mor Lang, we Chinese.”
Unknown Guy: “No, Ang Molan.”
Dad: “I SAY NO ANG MOR LANG!”

It lasted a few more minutes and Dad found out it was actually a mistake.

The person who called wanted was actually looking for a male/female named Ang Molan or something. Dad said he can’t really hear what the hell he was speaking because of a weird accent.

Hahahahaha! Huh!

We are finally done with the jamming scene after these few days in the damn hall, conflicts burst out but I’m glad it’s over in a while. After we are done, Peili needs accompaniment for shopping and so we went town to get his jeans. Searching high and low, he is satisfied with a jeans from TOUGH.

MOOKS are having a 1-for-1 or 1-for-2 sale, oh my god!

For dinner, we met up with Claudine and Kenndra at SHOKUDO Japanese Pasta. The food are extremely nice, it’s worth the price to pay. I won’t talk more about the food, you have to try it yourself.

Oh, Peili is the new Garbage-Man we found.

Jing Jie joined us after dinner, so we went TCC (The Coffee Connoisseur) to chill until midnight. Lots of catching up and Peili became friend with Jing Jie since it’s their first meeting.

It’s confirmed they can become pals, since they are kind of alike.

Willie joined us at midnight.

We took a short smoke break while traveling down the road to get the cars. While they were talking about how guys protect themselves from getting injured in the groin, I leaned on some kind of railing a metre away from the rest. Suddenly this lady appeared and asked for a cigarette and she sit besides me. Thinking she might just being friendly, I didn’t bother much and she starts to speak.

Scary Bitch: “Where are you from?”
Me: “I’m local.”
Scary Bitch: “Where are you going later?”
Me: “Going home soon.”
She starts to pull my wrist band and places her damn hands on my thigh.
Scary Bitch: “Would you like to accompany me for the night?”
Me: “No, I’m with my friends.”
I glanced at them for a signal for help.
She moved her god damn hands nearer to my groin even though I’m pushing her filthy hands away with my tote bag.
Scary Bitch: “It’s okay, we can have some fun.”

Kenndra to the rescue and that bitch walk away yet hovering around us.
I was seriously trumatized, I didn’t expect such a incident to happen in my life. Stupid Bitch.

Jing Jie was laughing, Peili was laughing, Willie was snickering, Kenndra and Claudine finds it interesting and amusing.

I swear I will never take a break outside TANGS, not even a minute.

For the past few days, Willie and I have been helping out with Peili, Victor and Daryl’s project. We are supposed to shoot a MV for the song that we produced. Being honest, I was very embarassed because we have to play the record of the song with my vocal inside the hall and there were people looking at us. Although it is just a lip sync, but people will know I am the damn owner of that voice.

The hall is hot as hell and we have to wear the damn shirt and neck tie, but no complains since I’m just holding a punie mic while Willie, Victor has to play Bass, Guitar and Daryl have to drum. During this 2 days, I have to admit I’m quite impressed with Daryl’s ability to drum as he catches the rhythm and brings out the beat fast.

Talented huh.

YX’s Theory

“Money can buy time.” by YX

Went shopping with YX and traveled along Bugis and City Hall. It was near 8PM and we decided to head Vivo City for last minute shopping. I blurted out a comment, “how I wish we have more time.” and so YX said “we can buy time.”

How does it work in YX’s theory? Simple.
Instead of taking a train, we can spent more money on cab to Vivo City and therefore we can save more time for shopping.

So ,
TAXI > MRT in time saving
TAXI = more money spent
TAXI = more time to shop
Therefore spent more money on cab = more time to shop
Therefore money can buy time.

Ever had a motivation to do something but it just doesn’t go smoothly?

It sucks huh?

Met up with Daryl, Victor, Peili and Willie this afternoon to work on their project. But due to certain restrictions, it did not go on schedule so we spent six hours discussing instead.

Never had I sit in STARBUCKS for so long, quite a experience.

Do you feel shy when listening to your own recorded voice?
People can sing as loud as they can in the bathroom but once recorded, courage is lost to play back.

Daryl passed me the song we recorded and I was damn shocked and depressed with my vocal. It just doesn’t goes well with the rhythm and I still feel the melody is off.

Willie has lots of troubles, leave him alone. Haa.
Peili has weird taste.

Got myself a purple T-shirt from ESPRIT.
